Best Choice Ever

The custom meal plan programme is very versatile with delicious options to go for. Initially I felt prepping the meals were cumbersome but once I got past the first week, it became easy sailing. As an individual I operate by results, and I must say after I checked my weight on the second week of starting the program I knew this was the meal plan for me. I slept better, woke up everyday feeling better, I got more active and that paid off in my daily steps. My body feels lighter and it made me realise I was probably eating meals the wrong way or maybe eating the food my body didn’t require. To top this, I had a good follow up coach, Seyi. She was very supportive. I must say that there were days I ate what was not on my food table but Seyi always encouraged me to pick up where I left off. I appreciated the fact that it was a non judgment partnership throughout the program, and I would do this again. Thank you so much, Seyi for the encouragement and motivation, I was so pleased to have lost over 3kg towards the end of the program following a Doctor’s appointment. Even though the program has ended I’ll still incorporate these meals in my daily lifestyle and look to the future for the best. Overall, I had an excellent experience and will do this again.

AWESOME!!!

The meal plan is AWESOME! It allowed me to understand better ways of eating and cooking my food. Majority of the food in there are things I used to eat but I quickly realized that I’ve been preparing them the wrong way. Best part? The food is still super yummy when I prepare them the LIN way, even my husband couldn’t believe his taste buds 😂😂😂. He had thought we would be eating weird meals 😂😂😂.

For the WhatsApp support, I’m mostly thankful because it helped me stay grounded and track what I am eating. I plan to continue sending myself the daily reports, so I can keep track of what is going inside my body. Bukola was also very pleasant to chat with and she answered my questions and concerns perfectly, I’m grateful to have had her hold my hands through this process. Stop the guesswork, a customized plan is the way to go

I signed up for a customized meal plan because all my old tricks to get rid of some excess pounds were not working. I just was not sure what I wasn't getting right. After my consultation with Ronke, light expelled the darkness. The meal plans factored in meals/ingredients I love. I did not miss a thing even though I wished some portions were larger because of how tasty they were. The recipes are top-notch, too. So I learnt new ways to make old meals. In all, I lost about 3.5kg in 3 weeks and lost inches around my arms and waist!

I must also commend the monitoring spirit, Bukola. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. You can confess your food sins boldly to her and won't get any flack for it.

Review on Custom Meal Plan

The meal plan was good, and most of the meals were tasty and filling. The plan helped me reduce my sugar intake drastically, and I noticed that even after the meal plan, my urge to take sugar isn't there! I now strive to eat right in order to achieve my desired goal. It's a continuous process for me!

Blood pressure and cholesterol meal plan

I found the specially curated meal plan for 3 weeks to be very filling and flavourful, seeing the same type of numbers i got when i went full Vegetarian (which is not sustainable) for me was the icing on the cake.

LIN custom plan

I got tired of stress eating and feeling unhealthy. I knew I had to do something but didn't want to take drastic measures. I wanted something sustainable that will help me stay on the right path, see results, while enjoying my favorite foods. I have done a lot of LIN programs in the past but wanted something that fit my schedule as a busy grad student. This plan started with a consult and my preferences were taken into consideration. I could see results after the first week. Bukola was incredible. She was non judgemental especially on days I was very busy with school and clinical and was unable to post my meals. LIN Diabetic Custom Plan

So, I completed my one month support subscription for the LIN Diabetic Custom Plan.

Plan: Amazing meal options. I love the flexibility of selecting between carb leaning and less carb leaning meals. The Live Green Smoothie is my favorite light breakfast. I love the mixed rice and absolutely love the vegetable soup for dinner. My challenge going forward will be mastering how to mix the meals to avoid eating 3 carb leaning meals per day.

Support: Bukola is amazing! We established a rapport super early on. Thank you, Bukola, for checking in, holding me accountable but doing it in a very caring way. I’m not kidding when I say I’ll hear “hi hi” when I reach for the wrong food choices. Thank you and thank you!!

The cost of our services covers more than just your consult (depending on service booked). Your nutritionist must dedicate time and resources to research and develop a plan that works just for you. Often two to three hours of “behind the scenes” time go along with your session. Our pricing is in line with industry standards.

Because benefits plans differ significantly and our team does not have access to your specific plan details, it is your responsibility to understand your benefits coverage.

Health benefit providers manage coverage in various ways. Some may offer direct coverage, like Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) or Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAP), while others operate on a reimbursement basis.

Please note that we do not provide direct billing services.

For reimbursement-based coverage, payment for our services or packages is required upfront. The dietitian will then provide you with receipts to submit for reimbursement. Depending on your provider’s policies, you may receive a lump-sum receipt for a larger claim, or individual receipts after each session. Your health benefits provider will reimburse you for the coverage amount, which may be partial or full.

If you have multiple health benefits providers, you can submit any uncovered expenses to the secondary provider. We recommend checking with your provider(s) for coverage details before scheduling a session.

Many extended health benefit plans offer full or partial coverage for dietitian services.

It’s important to check with your health benefits provider to determine your eligibility. Confirm whether your plan includes coverage for services provided by a registered dietitian or nutritionist.

Understanding the specifics of your coverage, such as per-session limits and coverage reset dates, will help you make informed decisions. It is your responsibility to verify that your plan covers registered dietitian services and to determine if a doctor’s note is required.

How Coverage Works

LIN offers an insurance covered service for LIN starting with select provinces in Canada.

You can see our in-house Registered Dietitian, and claim your expense back through your insurance / health care spending account.

  1. Check your health plan to see if you are covered for Paramedical services – Registered Dietitian. Alternatively, seek guidance from your HR department.
  2. Understand what you need for claim submission.
